Happy Valentine's Day



15 tried-and-true ideas for making this the most unique and funfilled Valentine's Day:

1. Designate one day this month—and every month—as Couples Day. Make an unbreakable date with your honey....
2. Playing together can rekindle passion. Try couples yoga. Take up tennis. Rent snowshoes. Go out dancing or heat things up with a salsa tape.
3. Intelligence is sexy, and learning together is a way to grow closer. Enroll in a class. Teach yourselves chess. Start a book discussion group for couples.
4. As a couple, keep one day clear each month. Don't over-schedule yourselves. Leave room for the unexpected!
5. Discover the world! Ask other couples to share their favorite ethnic cuisines, indigenous music or books on other cultures and beliefs. Try out some of their favorites on a regular basis.
6. Redecorate your home together with feng shui to invite positive energy.
7. Read the Kama Sutra or your favorite sultry literature to your partner.
8. Go for the rush! Try rock climbing, hang gliding or flying trapeze.
9. Window-shop for your dreams together. Go "house hunting" for the perfect weekend cottage...Paris flat...mountain cabin. Or, test-drive your dream car.
10. Sleep outdoors, under the stars. Naked (might be too much, but could be fun).
11. Make a list of your five favorite things to do together. Set aside time for each of them during Valentine's week.
12. Write down the names of four other couples who really know how to have fun. Schedule a "play date" with each one in the coming weeks.
13. Learn to meditate together. Even five or ten minutes a day can help. Inspire each other to keep to a meditation schedule.
14. If you were to marry your mate today, what would you say? Surprise your loved one with a new set of vows.
15. Are you new parents? Surprise each other by doing some of the chores on your partner's "least favorite chores" list.
